Hi, I’m a single mom in Phoenix with my 13-year-old daughter. We’re originally from Indiana, and after relocating to Arizona and recently leaving a domestic violence situation, we’ve been working to rebuild our lives here without the support of family or an established support system.
I’ve recently been approved for a new apartment, and I’m working to secure the funds needed to move in. My original move-in date is November 13, but management has offered to move our move-in date up if I’m able to cover the required upfront expenses sooner.
One confirmed expense is a $1,025.81 fee through TheGuarantors, which is required for my approval. The apartment’s current move-in balance is approximately $430, and that amount will decrease as we get closer to the original move-in date, eventually reaching approximately $130.
We’ve been staying temporarily in a home that isn’t ours, and I’m doing everything I can to establish a safe, stable home for my daughter before the holidays.
I was also recently hired for a new job, with a start date of November 11, which I’m incredibly grateful for and which will help improve our financial situation moving forward. I’m doing my part to create a more secure future for us, but getting past these initial move-in expenses has been challenging without family nearby to lean on.
Any assistance toward the guarantor fee or apartment move-in costs, no matter the amount, would make a meaningful difference in helping us get into our new home sooner.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story, and thank you for any financial assistance, resources, or connections you may be able to offer.
