Single mom of 3 in need of a little help ❤️

MINNESOTA / Posted 4 hours ago by 421371 / New

I am a single mother of three beautiful children, and right now, I am going through a really difficult time. I have been dealing with the heartbreaking loss of both of my parents, and there are truly no words to describe the pain of losing the two people you wish you could turn to the most. I miss having them here to lean on, to call when life gets hard, and to remind me that everything is going to be okay. Navigating motherhood, grief, and life’s challenges without them has been incredibly difficult.

Unfortunately, things have also taken a financial turn for the worse. I recently lost my job, and since then, I have been struggling to keep up with everything. Between rent, utilities, groceries, and making sure my children have what they need, it has become overwhelming. I am doing my best to stay strong, keep pushing forward, and make sure my babies are taken care of, but I have reached a point where I genuinely need some assistance.

I want to be clear that I am not asking anyone to take on my responsibilities or solve all of my problems. I am simply asking for a little help to get through this difficult period while I work toward getting back on my feet. Sometimes a little assistance at the right time can make all the difference in the world, and that is exactly what I am hoping for.

The areas where my family could really use some help right now are:

❤️ Groceries and basic household necessities: Help with food, pantry staples, snacks for the kids, milk, bread, cereal, and everyday essentials. Making sure my children have enough food and that our kitchen is stocked has become a struggle, and any grocery assistance would be such a blessing.

❤️ Utility assistance: Help with our electric, gas, and household utilities. I am trying my best to keep everything current and make sure we have a warm, safe home for the children.

❤️ Rental assistance: Any assistance toward rent would mean so much. My biggest concern is keeping a roof over my children’s heads and maintaining a stable home for them while I navigate this unexpected hardship.

❤️ Winter clothing for my babies:With winter here, I am hoping to find assistance with warm coats, snow pants, winter boots, hats, mittens, gloves, and other cold-weather necessities. I want to make sure my children are properly dressed and warm throughout the winter.

I know times are hard for so many families right now, and I know everyone has their own bills, responsibilities, and struggles. I completely understand that not everyone is in a position to give, and I would never expect anyone to put themselves in a difficult position to help mine.

I am not looking for anything extravagant, and I am not asking for luxuries. I am asking for help with the basic necessities that so many of us sometimes take for granted. Food in the refrigerator, utilities that stay on, a roof over our heads, and warm clothing for my children.

Even if you cannot personally help, information about local resources, assistance programs, food shelves, organizations that help with rent or utilities, or places that provide winter clothing would be incredibly appreciated. If you have gently used children’s clothing or winter items your family has outgrown, I would be grateful to hear from you as well.

I also want to say that I am actively trying to get back on my feet. Losing my job was not something I planned, and I am doing what I can to get through this and find stability again. I am not giving up. I am simply asking for some temporary assistance while I work through everything life has thrown my way.

Being a mother means putting your children first, even when your own heart is breaking. I try every day to keep a smile on my face for my babies, even on the days when I am silently struggling. I wish I could call my parents and ask them for help or advice, but I no longer have that opportunity. Sometimes I feel like I am trying to figure everything out while grieving the two people I would give anything to have beside me right now.

If you have made it this far, thank you for taking the time to read my story. Thank you for not judging me for asking for help. It takes a lot to admit when you are struggling, especially when all you want is to be able to provide everything your children need on your own.

I truly believe that kindness can change someone’s circumstances, even in the smallest ways. Whether it’s a grocery gift card, a few household essentials, help with a bill, winter clothing, a resource recommendation, or simply sharing this post, every little bit would make a difference for my family.

I am a grieving daughter, a struggling single mother, and a woman doing everything she can to keep going for her three children. I may not have everything figured out right now, but I promise I am trying.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for any kindness, compassion, prayers, resources, or assistance you may be able to offer. It truly means more than words can express.
