It isn’t easy to swallow our pride and open up about this, but our family has fallen on incredibly hard times, and we are reaching out for a helping hand this holiday season.
This year, life changed overnight when my mom suffered a stroke. To make sure she is safe and cared for, I had to step out of the workforce to become her full-time caregiver. On top of that, our sweet two-year-old son is dealing with learning delays and we are currently in the process of getting him tested for autism. Balancing his therapies and my mom’s full-time care on top of caring for my 2 older kids life has been an intense emotional and physical journey.
My husband is our absolute hero right now, but he is pushing past his physical limits. He was recently hit by a car on Riverdale Road, resulting in a severe head injury. Despite buster-up health and having no choice but to take the bus to work every single day, he refuses to miss a shift because he is determined to make sure our rent and bills stay paid.
While our basic bills are covered by his absolute dedication, our budget is completely maxed out for Christmas this year! We have a 13 year old son 19 year old daughter and 2 year old son sharing our link or keeping our family in your thoughts means everything to us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
