Hi, I’m a single mom in Seattle, WA, and I’m humbly asking for help. Out of nowhere I got seriously ill and ended up in the hospital with sepsis that almost took my life. The infection took my pregnancy too — I had to give birth to and bury my baby. I’m trying to recover and get back on my feet, but I fell behind on everything while I was in the hospital fighting for my life — and then grieving the baby I lost.

I’m behind $1,450 on rent and owe $283 on my utility bill — $1,733 total. I’m working hard to get caught up and keep a roof over my kids’ heads, and anything helps, even a portion of it.
